I know its hard to improve on perfection but I was wondering if anyone know if there are any mods that can be done to a toltec 100? <img src="/metal/html/confused.gif" border=0 width=15 height=22 alt=":?">

I'm not aware of any but I wish we had a new Toltec 100 U/Max. I'd change absolutely NOTHING! Just the size/weight. IMHO, I think it is the most accurate Target ID metal detector I've ever owned. David @ Dixie

I totally agree... A 2.5 lb Toltec 100
would be awesome... I use mine for my primary
coin hunting at schools and manicured lawns...
I've added the 5.75" coil to mine now; it dropped
the weight big time, still gets great depth and
the meter is even more accurate... If you can believe that... ha ha
Happy Hunting, Jeff

I replaced my arm support thingy with a White's that has the velcro wrap. Boy what a difference that makes! The holes match perfectly so next time you detecting with a Whites user borrow it and you'll see!
