Welcome to the X-TERRA forum. Between now and the time your X-TERRA arrives, take a look at the X-TERRA manual (link provided in the FAQFAQ section). You might also find some posts in the FAQFAQ section that could help you get to know the detector better. And I'd be remiss if I didn't recommend reading the eBook, "Understanding your X-TERRA". It is a free download from Minelab's website. A link to the eBook can be found at the top of these posts. HH Randy

Welcome aboard! I can't wait to hear what happens when you go back to places that you have already hit with the 250. I'm not knocking the 250 but everyone that I know that goes from a more basic detector to the 705 seems to get a surprise when they hit places that they thought they hunted out with their previous detector.
