Hello/ New Member/ New SE Pro/ A few finds so far

Hello, 13 hunts w/ the SE Pro so far, have found 41 wheats, 2 mercs, 3 rosies and a sterling ring. Pretty much the same
amount of stuff I'd could of found w/ my BH lone star(tho I found these on spots I hunted many times.) I have found some memorials and wheats at about 10", so I think I will be able to figure out how to find some deep silver, eventually. May have some questions that I'm sure I'll get some good advice on, already learned a bit by reading previous posts by you all.

I just noticed that the pic says 2005 , I just dropped my camera moments before taking the picture, and I think it must have affected the date, the mercs were found last saturday and sunday- alas three hunts since, no silver.

Id say if you are finding anything at 10" you are ahead of the game. You deffently need to pound those spots more because your finds normally drop off for awhile until you learn the detector... way to go.

Wait until you really get to know what the Explorer Se Pro can do! Your Bounty Hunter Lone Star will soon be collecting dust. So far, your doing well with the Explorer and I'm sure if you have any questions, someone here will reply back with some info. The few deep ones I've found, the depth roughly estimated using my digger which is 12 inches long, made me feel
like a blindman groping in the dark. I was hearing high pitched sounds( that didn't sound pleasant or flutey), my digits both ferrous and cond were jumping around in the high 20's, the cursor was jumping left and right at the top of the screen( I was set at IM 27) and when I pinpointed( as I believe Bryce-IL suggested in a post) the cursor either jumped to the right or stayed around the middle(I didn't dig the ones that jumped far left), I was surprised to find anything. My BH is already collecting dust, tho some days have been discouraging, I figure if I keep at it, finding signals and digging 'em up, I'll get the hang of it before too long.
