Hello. I've just joined this forum. I have an Ace 250, BH 3300, and White XLT. Looking forward to summer detecting. I'm from the currently frozen center of Canada. I've been a lurker since last summer. I used to detect many years ago and decided to get back into it.

Welcome to the forum Joel. Hope to see some pics of your finds.

The BH was the first detector I came back to in August. It was okay as a starter machine. I bought the 250 in October and noticed a marked difference in getting more coins (clad) which is what I was after. I ended up hunting to Nov. 20th being the last day before snow took over (white mold!). The 250 got me about 4 silver rings and quite a bit of junk jewelry, rings etc. I think the 250 is very easy to learn and a great machine. I'm very happy with it and it seems to outperform the BH. When I go out this spring the BH will be relegated to whoever I take along detecting or as a backup. Very impressed with the ACE 250.

Thank you to the members of this forum for the advice about the ACE.

Thanks for looking
Merci d'avoir regarder.

Glad you're here. Plenty of action from from all over the world on this forum. I'll look forward to what Winnipeg has to offer.
