Hello, New here...

I'm moving to Nashville this fall and have an Explorer. Just wanting some ideas on a Tesoro for relic hunting there.

Thanks,

Randy.

The Tejon is definitely Tesoro's top line relic machine. I don't believe you could go wrong with it.
Good luck!

I haven't used any of the other machines on tesoro's line up , but the tejon is one deep machine for small metal. I have had it for 7 months, and this thing is constantly surprising me with the small size and depth of the items I'm finding. if tesoro would include a conductivity meter on the tejon, it would be the machine to have wether you are hunting for relics, coins, or even gold...Well, may be not gold if you are propecting along the mountain side or desert

The Vaquero is a great all a round detector and is probably Tesoro most versatile machine. The Tejon is a deep hitting relic monster. You really cant go wrong with either one.

Welcome aboard here.

Tejon is a pretty good relic machine. If you pick one up, add a 5.75 inch concentric coil. In target dense and trashy conditions the 5.75 incher makes a world of difference. The standard coil plus the 5.75 concentric with the Tejon makes a pretty potent hunting package once you learn the Tejon.

I also have the 3.6 x 18 inch clean sweep that is used mostly for school yard and dry sand beach work.
Cheers,
tvr
