Offended at my attempt at humor, even if it's hillbilly style, because I was raised on a farm in the Ozark hills of S.E. MO? I just seem to get too preachy at times and I thought we needed to lighten up and laugh once in awhile! Laughter is good for the soul! And the Word of God says, The joy of the Lord is our strength and a merry heart doeth good like a medicine! So, again, I don't mean to offend anyone, but because of my clinical depression I'm trying to be on the upside of life.....which is really hard at times, but I know Jesus is with me and will see me through all trials and hardships and He will all of you, also!

God is good and will never put any more on us without giving us a way of escape , if we will just remember to take it and give God praise in all things! So, Praise God and Thank You, Jesus! I love You and I know You love me!

God Bless!

Betty,

I taught my 1st year out of college in the Mountain View/Birch Tree School District. (That was the 1976/77 school year). Later, as an Engineer with Entergy Corp., I worked in the Hayti/Caruthersville area for a few years.

Blessings,

Kim

farm 6 miles from Bunker, MO..... which is 32 miles S.E. of Salem, MO, and we considered those hills as the Ozarks...only smaller, I guess! :D My cousin lived in Kenett? and in Ark and picked cotton as a youngun, but I never had to do that! I just cut sprouts, worked in the hay-field, garden, helped can and slopped hogs, milked & fed the cows and etc. Fun jobs! Glad I left the farm and never wanted to ever live on one again! Tooooo much hard work!

God Bless!
