Hello, I'm new..Here.

I started out on the Sovereign forum, because that is what I had. Then I traded that in and got an Explorer, so I headed to that forum. Traded in the Explorer, and here I am, having gotten a slightly used but very clean Safari from Richard at Backwoods Metal Detectors.
I live in Southeast Louisiana, a small town named St. Francisville. I am about 45 miles from Baton Rouge, and only 26 miles from Port Hudson Battlefield for all you relic hunters. No, don't ask if you can hunt there because you can't. I've tried the legal ways; I can't speak for others.
I am trying to get used to coin hunting, though relics are my first love. Hope to have something to write about soon, and I'll be watching to see what others are doing.

It's great to have another Safari hunter amongst the few. So welcome, Chuck!!

Be sure to post some finds when you come across them.

Welcome to the fold. It's nice to have another Safari representative on the forum.
