it was called ANTELOPE LAKE....WE had to drive on a causeway? out to the island.
it had been used for raising sheep/horse/buffalo/etc.by different folks/company etc.
it is located smack dab in the middle of a SALT LAKE!
they had lots of old cars/trucks/farm equipt.and hand made homes there.
i think they said it was occupied around 1911.
i took picks of sheep shearing process that was running there until
wool became obsolete,from what the guide said.
the ranch is run by the state now and is a preserve for a lot of rare
animals and a heard of buffalo exceeding 750.
it was nice to see nature and not cement out there.
