HELLO GENTS: WHO'S THE WINNER TEJON VS. OUTLAW??

What sort of a detector do you want, or what sort of things do you want to find. You might want to give us a bit more information so that we can advise you better.
You must also keep in mind that the Outlaw has not been out that long so no honest answer can be given at the moment , but i can see both detectors finding things (The Tejon if you want depth and probably the Outlaw for less depth but better sounding signals).
I hope that this helps, Les

I have used both (both great detectors) and if I had to pick between them I would pick the Tejon. Just a personal preference, there are some things on the Tejon that really suits me.... the dual discrimination setup, the toggle switch pinpoint, the adjustable tone & the depth. But there is nothing wrong with the Outlaw, especialy w/all the coils it comes with.

And hello to you, litrfree. I was wondering if you had any experience with either the Cibola or Vaquero in changing the frequencies to alter the ground balance and thus improve depth. Kindest regards> Ken.

Although the Outlaw is new, it's probably safe to say, they're both winners.

Hello Ken,
you can see as basic info this movie, what describe nice and easy a principle how to manage it.

And what is a benefit for poor hunter as me? Should be able to take a decision quick&fast and repeatable above target, in positive -you are above, you can juiced it, and answer is great yes/no beep sound, and in NEG you can verified board noises (target or mouse hole or piece of wooden coal..).

You can try it. For depth improvement (my focus is could be larger than deeper :surprised:) , turn all sens and thresh right, easy: volume right, receiver right, and reduce headphones input only, you knows, I am sure.

Regards

litrfree
