HI all. Mark B here.Just started Md`ing late aug. So far md`ing has helped to get off my rump and the computer and outdoors moving around. Hit $30.00 in clad and 2 merc dimes so far. Happy huntinh all.
 
Hello MarkB. I'm also in Indy. What kind of equipment are you running? I use a Xterra 505 with both the MF concentric coil and the 5x10 HF coil. Have found plenty of clad with both with a 1946 nickel being my oldest find so far. Have also found my own private stash of junk! Foil, bottle caps, pop top tabs, fencing stays, etc. I'm amazed sometimes at the amount of junk in the ground. But it's fun and the anticipation of the next big find will keep you coming back. I have the 505 as well. I mostly use the stock coil that came with the detector. Also have a 6" dd 18.75 but havent use it much. Constantly search for places to hunt where theres no one watching you dig.
