Got back from CT. I had a week off and made some money and got out detecting and fishing. I hit some new cellar holes, but they were picked pretty clean. I found a few buttons, musket balls and some nice iron relics. i found 3 horseshoes in a 2x2 area and there was probably a fourth, but the digging was tough and I'll wait for it to warm up a bit to find the other. i thought I may have stumbled on the remains of a horse, but i didn't find any bones. i didn't get to hook up with Donnie but he found a large cent and an old 3.5-4 ft. long wrought iron door hinge and saw 4 black bears at once. I fished below Bulls Bridge and in Cornwall, but didn't catch anything, guess I should have brought some shiners 
It was nice to see some friends and family, but sure was happy to see my wife at the end of the week. YTou all have a good one.
