Hello everyone and good to be back for a bit...

I completed many home improvements this summer and had little time to detect so now that I'm at school I figured i'd take a break :) and hit the old fort and base up here. It treated me well with my first no letter eagle button, 4 newer eagle and globe buttons, a grape shot, 1912 Victory (thought it was a 13 at first!, my second artillery button and some wheaties relics and a nice cross I gave to my wife's grandma. The arty button was less than an inch down next to a tree. I couldn't believe it.
The first week of school was great and I picked up physics 101, which puts me at 19 credits and a candidate for my bachelors degree. I also started my teaching classes and now know for sure I chose the right path. I also found some work so we won't lose the house while I'm at school :) All in all life is good and I hope yours is as well. Have a good one and I'll try to check in more. I do have to limit my detecting a bit since the workload is tough, but I'm sure I'll get out.
