Hello all.....Woke up this morning sicker than yesterday with dark gray skies which meant rain......

I got up at 6:30 am.....really early for me.....My head and neck hurt terribly which made me sick to my stomach and after throwing up, I took two aspirins, drink a cup of coffe and prayed, prayed and prayed! I told the Lord that I had to feel better to load Larry's car with the detector and stuff and Liz would really be disappointed if I didn't go to the hunt. I started getting better and loaded the car, dressed and got on the way at 9:00 am.

Started raining about the time I left and rained until about ready for the competition hunt at 10:00...stopped raining for that hunt....which I don't do, as I'm not fast and also save my energy for the two other hunts! Was praying during my drive over there for God to protect me and everyone driving to the hunt in the rain and praying also for it to clear off and have a nice sunny day!

It cleared off for the Surprise hunt at 11:00 am and then lunch time, the Kiddies hunt and then the Main Hunt about 2:00 pm. After that was the prize give away for matched tokens (I never found any at all) and then the raffle drawing! I don't usualy buy tickets, as I don't gamble, but since it was for the club, I bought 6 tickets....2 for (2005) Silver Dollars, 2 for the 50/50 which was $90.00 and 2 for a drawing for lots of different nice prizes of coins and etc.

I was feeling better by the time of the Surprise Hunt and the day turned out great with the sun shining brightly for the Main Hunt of silver coins!

Praise God and Thank you, Jesus, for answered prayer and making me feel better to be able to hunt and enjoy all my old and meet some newer friends and for a beautiful afternoon!

I did pretty good in both hunts and Liz did too! Will posts pics when I can and thank you all for praying because I couldn't have done the club hunt without all your prayers for healing strength to go and enjoy the day!

...I'm glad you started feeling better and were able to go on the club hunt...sounds like you had a great time. Can't wait to see the pics. I have never been on a seeded hunt but it sounds like joining a club would be fun, I may have to look into joining one. God bless and praying you stay well.
