Hello all...My Vaq got Gold...and probably diamonds too!

Hey everyone,
I lurk here all the time for entertainment and tips, ( I swing an F2 and a Vaquero), and to look at all your finds, but I usually hang out at another forum.
This find, however is my best so far and like they say if you have a problem with Viagra...I'm gonna tell my doctor and everyone else.

Didn't think these stone were diamonds at first, but the consensus is they probably are.
I WILL go back to that spot and look for the other stones as soon as I can...maybe I will be lucky.
I will take this somewhere to check it out asap, but it still is my first 14k piece, and I am a happy guy!

Thanks for looking!

About a week ago I found a very tiny ring that I believe is gold but really isn't marked...so until I test it I won't be sure.
My first gold. Maybe.

This time, I Know I found gold!

It's crushed a little, and missing a few stones, (which I assume are not real diamonds), but it does have a nice little Amethyst, (I think), and it looks beautiful to me!

Found it in a tot-lot that I hit all the time, right behind a swing set baby seat...you know...where mommy would stand while pushing her child.

I was using the Vaq in all metal, it had gotten dark but I was still swinging because the night was just beautiful and a perfect temperature.

I was too lazy to walk back to my truck to get my headlamp, so the only light I had was the tiny beam coming from my Pro-pointer.

The signal was pretty strong and thumbed out right below Nickel...the ring was about 2-3-inches down.
I thought it was a junk ring at first, but then it seemed a little better quality than that, and I thought I saw some kind of mark on the inside.
Of course, I needed to wait till I got home to get more light and magnification to actually see the mark.
I had to use my illumination set-up I bought from a light-house supply co., and some used equipment I got from a friend that works at Mt. Palomar, but I finally saw it...14K...Gold Baby!
This time...no holding back...
I'm doing the dance!

yep, shovel and a screen wire sifter, local pawn shop would have a diamond tester, just take it to them. simple machine, touches the stone and tells you. Now for real cha allllenge, find the person who lost it. appeared to have initials. i returned a class ring to an 86 yr old. fun. have returned several class rings and one engagement ring that was lost a month, and i knew the field it was lost on. makes you all feel warm and fuzzy, like a new detector!
