Hello all! I went back to the dr today and won't have to go back for two months! That's good news for me...but ....

my brother visited the dr for first time and he has to have oxygen both day and night and he used to smoke. His oxygen level is 88....sooooo he has two small oxygen tanks to use outside when shopping or working and a concentrator for day in the house and at night like I have.....buuuuuut like me he doesn't like the plugs in his nose and is determined not to use it at night. I'm supposed to be getting a new kind of one to use that sits under my nose and not inside of it! I hope it does better for me.....and have to move the concentrator into the bathroom and close the door as it is so noisy when in use! :(

Therefore, if you all can keep from getting emphysema, bronchitis and etc. then you will be much better off! If you smoke (STOP)!!!!!....as the consequences are not pleasant for anyone...I never smoked but lived with my dad and ex-husband who did! So woe is me from second-hand smoke!

But Praise God and Thank You, Jesus, for answered prayers and for all your blessings given me!

God Bless!

I quit last april after smoking for over 40 years. i wish I had never started smoking. The doctor told me Iam in the early stages of emphosema.
The thing that really gets me mad is that the goverment says smoking is bad but the won't do anything to stop the growing of tobacco. as long as there is big money for the goverment from tobacco they wont stop the growing of it.

you are aware of things and handle it accordingly. I quit smoking many years ago and sure am glad. steve in so az

during World War II the soldiers were given cigarettes and many have died of lung problems! My uncle and dad both passed away from emphysema and other health problems! My uncle was in the service, my dad wasn't, but smoked for many, many years...Prince Albert, Camels and Lucky Strikes!

And yes you're right, as long as there is money from growing tobacco, it will be around to destroy the people who yield to satan's temptation to start and get addicted to the awful drugs in chewing tobacco, cigarettes and cigars!

Again congrats on quiting....it will with Jesus' help add a few years to your life!

God Bless!
