I saw posts about them field testing a nw Tesoro, and Fisher just announced a new unit, so I was hoping you guys would be announcing something sometime soon?

Rumors get started so easily on when and if a new product will be available. The best recommendation is to wait for an official posting by James Gifford. We never promote a model until it has been fully tested and is ready for our customers.

How does one recieve or get information on the battery modification??? What are the costs invovled and do you get a lot more hunting itme??? Is it rechargeable??? Can you get it for the Vaquero??? Sorry for all the questions but it looks really great!!!

Im not sure on all the answers but i can tell you that it feels well ballanced and it will keep you from having to change the batteries every time that you go out with the detector , over here in the UK the mod costs about 45 pounds . it will void the warrentee but as we only get 1 year over here its not that much of a problem.

I guess you guys made an exception to this policy when the Tejon was being tested? There were two testers that ran childish smack on that model for over a year on another forum...a forum which was your 'Official' Forum at the time.
