Man the price's New York City are out of site,Price's are so high it's almost funny.hehehe $100.00 a day to park your car,What?? My first call for a hotel(I want a nice Hotel for Betty)$2200.00 a day,What??Well I did make a few more calls and got a Hotel just off 5th Ave.It was high,But not $2200.00.

O.K.Let's see how many friends I have here,I need to float a $10,000 lone for this trip.I want Betty to have the best.Lets go ya'll dig deep in your pockets.hehehe Damn life is good.

Ya'll have fun now

.... you and Betty could stay free with me, the perky Nancy, and our two pups .... could park at the airport for about $10 a day and buy a cheap seats airline R/T to NYC and back.

Might not be quite the same experience for Betty though.

.... and Nancy and I don't need to be hearing all the wild 50th anniversary celebrations going on in the guest bedroom either.

Unless you know NYC.......it is friggin expensive, even to eat there in the summer months.......they'll clean your mattress out in no time!

But if you pick out a nice hotel in Ct. and then take the Metro into Grand Central daily for your excursions, you would save a heck of a lot of money, and most train stations in Ct. offer free safe parking.....which certainly beats $25/hour off 5th Ave.

There are plenty of good places to eat but ya gotta do your homework first and not get stuck in the tourist traps....and spend $38 for a hamburger!!

The New York transit system (MTA) offers maps online of the subway and bus systems, best if you copy them before you leave.
