Heck with high winds and Heavy rains  ohhh and did I mention the killer bacteria Ameba

Man it POURED heavy again today so I said heck with this and went with the water unit to a local lake.
The lakes have warning signs up for killer bacteria again this yr so it cuts down on swimmers for sure :(

I had to do a little diggin tho and fought the winds today(50mph gusts) and heavy rains, water was just a little bit choppy too
Still fun tho and heres a few finds for the 11/2hr I was there and said ..........ok I cant even see now!! time to go it was raining so dang hard :D
Water was hitting the lake and back up hitting me in the face

I'll hit the water soon again tho I hope

the Fort areas here are really tough to get to, either private land, state historic or just lost to time but I will get some land hunts in.
I remember all the frost frozen ~ hot muggy bug filled hunts in New England walking the mud fields in the snow and rain :D and loved them all but dont miss the weather at all there , heck I lived in it outdoors there.
The finds were always the bounus and anything pre 1800 was what I was after and anything in the 1600-1700 era was spot on for me
Cant beat making finds from the early time in out countrys begining but after those Id rather have gold ;)
Theres plenty here just have to take the time and waste the gas to go the trip to the ocean
So if the ship sank I'll find it, if it's there 'll find it :D :D
