i have been reading, believing and understanding more clearly than ever that we as mere mortals and Christians have ,thru Jesus' own personal anointing thru His Father, the power to lay hands upon those that we love and those that the Holy Spirit guides us to for healing. Yes, that's what i'm saying, WE, have been given the ability to lay hands upon and HEAL those physicaly afflicted. All that it takes is belief and love, TRUE UNDENIABLE BELIEFE and LOVE.Belief in HIS love for you, belief in your love for Him, belief in the Holy Spirit ,belief that it is NOT our Lord's doing that those of us are affliceted but satans ways to undermine the fact that our Lord wants us clean and pure and healthy.There are a few that some of us are familiar with that are right now suffering both physicaly and spiritualy because of satan tryin to have his wrong wrong way with them. I ask each and everyone of us to pray, believe and love and pray dilligantly for folks like Harold, Charlie & Doug that they may believe and love enough to lay hands upon those that they love that thru their anointing thru Jesus that their loved ones may be healed and once again walk healthy in our Lords love and kindness.
There is no fear in love;but perfect love casteth out fear.
Jesus is anointed and so are we.He is in us and we are operating in His name.
"In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tounges; they shall take up serpents;and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover"
We can do this, we can love, believe, not fear, and do this.

Who we are in Jesus, His dearly beloved Son! When a healing, especially miracles happen, this increases our faith to believe for more of His awesomeness to be shown unto us! I believe in His healing, but He does it in His own time, for our having more believing faith! Also, know there is a time for each person to go and be with Him and that timing is His and not ours, although sometimes in the Bible, He gave more time for them to live like King Hezikiah...but in doing so he had more children born and some became evil kings....Therefore God does know best, but in His love and kindness He will answer our prayers although they aren't for our best! And if we refuse to listen....then all the problems we have are ours caused by our fleshly stubborness! We should be sure to test the spirits and see if they be of God!!!

Praying for all those you mentioned and all prayers requests! And when asking of Him anything, I always pray, Not my will but Thine be done!

...I too believe that God can heal afflictions if it is in His will to do so. If He can speak us, and our world around us, into existence He can surely heal diseases. And believe me, I pray for healing for my son every day and have laid hands on him during some specific prayers for healing. But my sons health has deteriorated over the last year. It has been the worst 12 months of his life. But through all this my faith has only grown stronger because I know He is with us and I've seen how God has used Brian's disease to touch others.

Last week when he broke his femur at school I walked away from the crowd around Brian to call an ambulance. When I turned around to go back to Brian I saw both principals and several teachers and my wife kneeling in prayer as the principle lead the prayer! I thought the principle had initiated the prayer but my wife said later that it was Brian. She said he cried out to God to take the pain away and then broke into prayer and when he trailed off the principal immediately knelt and continued to pray with the others around him joining in. Many hearts were touched that day and if one of that group wasn't a believer I have to think that Jesus Christ was knocking on the door of their heart. Tears were flowing from everyone. God operates by a different time clock than I do and I believe Brian will be healed but in His time.

My faith can't help but grow! But maybe you are right, maybe my faith and belief that God will heal Brian isn't strong enough. I have no doubt whatsoever, that God can and does heal but maybe I haven't been proactive enough. Good food for thought. I have some more studying to do.

Perhaps we need to pray first, asking for the faith needed. Remember the gentleman in the Bible as he said to Jesus, "I do believe. Help me with my unbelief."?

There are many illnesses that don't have anything to do with the physical. Sometimes God does allow these things to teach us and glorify himself. Never feel guilty for your son illness, it is truly a blessing to us all in that he teaches us things that we could never learn on our own. I think Brian has more faith then we all do. I am thankful for you both.
