Heavy mineralized soil

I am looking into a new detector and I am between the F75 and Etrac or possibly a Xplorer II but I dont want to use it a year before I learn it. I will be using it for coins, relics, and dry wet sand at the beach.

How are these machines in heavy soil and which would work best? I am in Charleston SC alot of history here of course and I want some.

E-Trac is simple to operate - turn on and go. Couldn't be easier. Goes deeper in mineralized soil than F75. But, F75SE will find deeper targets (in boost) in non-mineralized soil and is better on lower conductors and has deep TID. You won't find much in the way of thin gold rings with the E-Trac or small gold chains, etc. Just isn't the E-Trac's thang.

The F75 is deep, very deep, especially in boost, but can be chatty if set to be too sensitive. The E-Trac is much quieter - more relaxing to use, it beeps but you can discern the target easily when it does. The F-75 is featherlight while the E-Trac is fairly heavy and will tire your arm after a few hours. So, the F75SE is probably the better machine overall, though it will take more effort to learn (it's not for everybody) and is somewhat harder to discern good targets from the noise.

You will either love it or sell it. The E Trac in heavy Mineral soil including wet salt sand. The F75 in neutral soil.
