Heat Wave Breaks!!!

little brother

New member
Okay, here I go trying to navigate around on the new and improved story forum lol

After weeks and what seems like months of temps in the triple digits and very very humid air today i think is the start of what I think might be the breaking of the heat wave. Its cooled off to mid 90's with much dryer air. Makes me want to get out my new fangled bow that I bought a month ago that Ive only shot once. Ha Ha! Its been too hot to do much of anything around here except when Carol n I go to the creek every Sunday to cool off.

I cant wait til the Fall when then leaves finally turn golden n fall to the ground. That means I have another chance at sticking that big buck that has eluded me for the last couple of years. This year I joined a brand new deer camp so at least I get to hunt somewhere besides my back yard. Wish me luck as I sight in my bow and get geared up for another season. As you fellow hunters know there is alot involve with hunting as I am a stickler for scent or lack of. I will do anything to avoid smelling like anything lol, plus I have my scouting cameras my treestands etc to ready, but once that is done I can hunt October 1 thru February 28!

Thanks for taking time to read my post as I hope to learn how to post pictures soon {and thats after i learn how to get them from my camera to my computer}

See Yall soon

The folks around here with sinus and asthma problems have suffered terribly this year. Glad to see it coming to an end. And yup.....I love the fall as well for my type of hunting (detecting). Hope you land that big buck this year Tom. Gotta say again that it's nice seeing you around :thumbup:
