Happy Birthday!!

We had them temps a few days ago in MI. It lasted for about a week here,,,in the 90's most days but hit 100 a few times. That kind of heat is unbearable when the humidity is high too. Its hard to breath in it. lol

No way I would go detecting and you have a few years on me. We are in the 80's now ,,it dropped overnight and stayed. Weather usually goes from west to east so you know whats coming. Just watch weather in MI or PA and you know what you will have in a few days!!

you gotta get an early start!! Be on the ground at daylight, ready to dig. Chose your hunt site carefully. Wear loose fitting, light colored clothes, preferably white. A water soaked bandanna tied loosely round your neck will do wonders!! Make sure there are trees to hunt under as the morning heats up. You should be able to get 4 hours in before the heat drives you away. Take frequent breaks too and re-hydrate even if you don't feel thirsty. We've had 38 days now of 100

I live in the Wilmington area and I don't go out n this weather. Besides I don't own a jack hammer to get through the ground!
