There are many of these devices and I am asking for a friend, if any one knows of "any" that are banned from being used by anyone using a metal detector. I have read that there are no problems, but I am looking for the complete story, since there are so many different devices and particular purposes, that it is better to get the info first hand if possible. Some doctors will lump a metal detector right in with welding, and any other shock hazard that can be offered, not to discredit them in any way but, there is a big difference in shock hazard from welding and a metal detector. I think it more likely involves the type radio, micro, or whatever waves put out and how close a proximity the device comes to those waves. Any help will be appreciated. I know I can, and will do a Google for some info, but I want some first hand info from those with genuine skinnie! Thanks! Charlie
