Dug one today, that is. Also got 110 coins, 11 were nickels. Some junk jewelry and 3 round town tokens. Getting mighty hot out there already.

Here's the stamped 14 K heart - couldn't find the chain that went with it. The other gold looking thing is a stick pin bird - not gold. The hairpin item was neat - I'll see if my grand daughter would like it.

And here's about 1/2 of my junk digs. At least I wont have to dig them again next time I'm there. Steve in so az

was you diggin in an old spot? I spotted a harmonica reed in there!

I think it is a good idea to sometimes post our junk finds. Mainly being if newer people see that we kept the trash then maybe they will realize it is in their best interest to remove the trash as well - which of course is it.

Removing trash is one way to make it easier on oneself when he returns to the same place and doesn't have to pick up the same trash again - wasting more time re-digging trash.

Its also good to see that the dangerous items are being removed and properly disposed of - this being a public service to protect others from harm or potential harm anyway. So am glad you posted the picture of the trash with the goodies.

Thanks Steve and hope you can keep getting out before the sun melts away the day - time for those early morning hunts now I am guessing.

That is the trick - get out while it's still not bad. I can get in 4-5 hours almost before it gets hot. Steve
