Heads I Win, Tails You Lose

I took my new V3i out today for about three hours for the first time today. I hunted an old school yard that has been "hunted out" and came up with 3 lovely ladies; one of which was a little scantly dressed! I found this "Heads I Win, Tails You Lose" token and two mercury dimes. Not bad for a beginner with the V3i. I also dug some clad and very little trash. The sad part is, I "kissed" the rim of the 1936 dime. Either that or it was marred by the rocks in the hole. This is what happens when you are sick and trying to hunt anyway. The pinpointing is amazing on this detector and the depth was right on. These 3 coins were all about 4.5" deep.

The V3i worked great, but I noticed that the "fade" no matter where it was set was too slow. Does anybody know a fix for this? It was about the same set on 1 as it was 25. It would seem to take 10 seconds to fade completely.

I noticed in Analysis mode that the "sizing" didn't seem to be too accurate most of the time; I probably passed up some keepers. I switched over to "Polar Plot" and it worked great.

Anyway, that's my first report on the V3i.
