Will cordless headphones be an option in the future?
For the majority of people who are right-handed it is very awkward having the cable on the left earphone as it continually snags when using your machine. I know you can always turn the phones around but there must be some reason why they are always marked L & R?
I would much rather see the socket situated under the control box, out of the way of arms.

Dave do you have the Sunray adapter/stand? what
I do is use it, then duct tsape the wire under the arme rest.. keeps it out of the way, and also takes stress off the plug... and for some reason, when I switch left to right ears, the sound doesnt seem right, so left right does something?

Howdy folks.....I just got my Explorer last week. It came with a cheap set of headphones. But I have a real good set of headphones that was on the home stereo. It plugs into Sun Rays adapter/detector stand. And works in both left and right side. Plus it has a loudness control on the headset. Does anyone think that the headphones made for detectors are better for use than home stereo type of headphones????
Thanks Gary Smith

I think they would be OK, but generally they seem to have less volume than ones made for detectors.. But the only ones I ecer tried were my old Koss Pro 4a's and they were also very heavy

I have a set of stereo headphones that I use with volume controle on both sides, and I know that they are better than the ones that came with my explorer.
Thanks,
Cliff
