I've been out trying things with the CTX. I found a solution for now, but not a fix for the speaker not shutting off when headphones are plugged in. I turned the threshold level down to 18 (for my combination of machine and phones) and there was basically no sound from the machine speaker. (unless I put it up next to my ear) I have SunRay Pro Gold phones with adjustable volume on each ear. I then turned up the volume pretty much as high as it would go on the phones, to the level of threshold I like to use. Doing that, you can at least hunt with the phones plugged into the machine, and not have any noticeable sound from the speaker. I do have two sets of these phones and I noticed a little difference in the volume and sound between the pair, but that is probably typical of all headphones. I used to run Accu Sound phones, and there was one pair of them I liked the sound of better than the other...........Anyway, this isn't fixing the phone/speaker issue, but is a quick temp solution. I might have imagined it, but I thought there was a little difference in sound from the phones being plugged directly into the machine and plugged into the WM10 wireless unit as well. Nothing that amounted to anything, but a slight difference...........Just a thought......I really like the wireless, and not being tied to the machine..........HH Steve
