I never bothered with the Koss that came with the machine. I have used the Grey Ghost orginals and find them to be very comfortable excellent head phones

I use the Timberwolfs myself as they are the loudest for us that are hard of hearing. The Gray Ghost too are excellent headphone and recomended by many as they too are as comfortable as the Timberwolfs and made for us that are serious about detecting.

I've been using the Koss 30 that came with the machine but find them hard to keep on my head. Any one else have that problem?

I had to buy a converter at Radio Shack to plug my Gray Ghosts into my Explorer. The converter doesn't fit just right and has given me a little trouble. The converter bumps into the battery cover and doesn't go in straight. Can anybody tell me what they've used to convert and where they got it? The headphones work great other than that.
