can someone please explain using headphones, is it because people have trouble hearing? i have excellent hearing and just was wondering why headphones, thanks very much for replies
 
Headphone use: Save batt. power on the detector.
Hear low-small signals
Don't bother others
People tend to not bother you :)

The audio signal provides just as much info as the video on the Vision... And more on most other machines. Headphones alllow you to hear the subtle differences in tones, which once learned, will allow you to identify the target before you dig.
