I need a set of headphones for my X-terra. I would like to get the best but......... there is always that money thing getting in the way.
I live in Mo so something that does not get to hot would be the best, Any information/help would be great.

Thanks Matt

hi matt, i bought a cheapie pair from radio shack for $30 dollars that work swell. individual volume on each side.

Ask 25 different people and you'll likely get 25 different answers. Find a pair that fits well and sounds good to you. I use my trusty old Gray Ghost originals most of the time. Had them for several years and they never let me down. Great sound reproduction, terrific noise "blocking" and just plain fit well on my huge melon. I think they cost around $80 or so. However, when it gets hot in the summer time, I sometimes slip on a pair of the Garrett Ace phones. I know, some of you are laughing. No volume controls, small straight cord and zero noise blocking. But honestly, for around $14, they sound pretty good. Nice reproduction of sounds and they are definitely cooler than the GG or any other's that fit around your ears. Not what most would consider to be their #1 headphone. But for a backup, or that set you want to wear when it is 100 degrees out, they work well for me. JMHO Randy

I've been using the wireless ones from Radio Shack. Cost around $50 bucks if I remember correctly, I like them. I also use the corded one earcup, "Rattlers" and I real like it except they fit tighter then heck. Good Luck

Send me an email, and I'll forward a link to a good read about headphones that I found interesting.

No, I'm not selling anything, and neither is the link.

I went from expensive headphones to clip around the ear, earbuds because of hot weather but then I liked the lightweight so well, I never went back to standard headphones but that is just me.
