Headphones for the F75

Paul from Kiev

New member
Hi guys!

I am going to purchase the F75. Which headphones will do the best for it? My eyes set on Gray Ghost and Jolly Rogers. Before I owned the Eagle headphones and really liked them. Maybe Should I buy a new set of those Eagles?

All your ideas will be appreciated!!!! Don't keep silent!!! Let's talk this subject over!!!!

I bought a standard pair of lightweight Sony headphones (not detecting headphones) for stereo use and love them. They are so light, I forget I'm wearing them. Don't buy headphones with active noise reduction (ANR) or cancellation, as these may interfere with the electronics on the F75.

I use Sun Ray Gold Pros and really like them. They have a very good tone and I can really discern the signals. I never used headphones until I got these. They are also very affordable.

I use Nugget Buster NDT`s . A member of the "Pro" selection.
SERIOUS bit of Kit. Superb on the sounds and comes with 2 " Q /Detachable leads included "

I use the Grey Ghosts on mine, Paul. I absolutely love the sounds the two give together.

I was in need of a new set of earphones for my F 75 and at the suggestion of my dealer I bought a pair of Gray Ghost DMC and after two hunts with them, I absolutely love them. Very good clear, crisp signals. HH jim tn

The only bad thing is the darn F75, sometimes the knob that turns on the detector, gets turn down.
I have found this to happen many, many times. I sure wish they would put a notch knob on the detector.
That would eliminate that problem.

By the way, my F75 worked great at Diggin in Va X the first of this month. As a first timer I found 27 3 ringers and 5 buttons and one J-hook.
Maybe I should post those finds on here. I also stretched the heck out of my Headphone cord and it still works just fine.
