The Koss headphones that came with my machine have been acting up lately. The problem was a lot of cutting in and out, apparently a known problem with them, so they will be going back to Minelab. I needed a new set for the upcoming weekend hunt, so I decided to get a set of Sun Ray Pro Gold made for the CTX. I am so glad I did! The sound, fit & finish of them is far superior to any other headphones I have used. They weren't cheap, but I decided that since my detecting time can be limited, I own a very busy small business, I need the time to be well spent.
Thanks to Bart at Big Boy's Hobby's for helping with my decision. He answered the phone on the first ring, talked to me about several different options and when I made up my mind, he shipped that same day! I had a few questions about the headphones after the sale, so I emailed him and he promptly answered every question I threw at him. I got a good price and they arrived at my door in time for the weekend hunt, as promised. Thanks Bart!
