I was going through my desk, my box's,containers,etc. the other day looking for something and found two 600 ohm speakers that I forgot I had. So I went and bought everything else I needed to build a set of headphones, I will get my wife to take a picture or two of them when she gets time she is very busy getting Easter dinner ready then will try to figure out how to post them here on the forum. I used muffs like these in the picture, a long coiled cord (not quite as heavy duty as some phones but should hold up), a black and yellow volume knob to match the muffs, a compatibility toggle switch (or as some call it a mono/stereo switch) and a 5k audio taper potentiometer (volume control). Would like to get $40.00 shipped or trade for a set "name brand" phones in decent cosmetic condition that need repairing, I love repairing headphones almost as much as detecting.
