headphones for lobo ST?

I just sold a new set of Grey Ghost Ultimates I believe are a good set for your LST. I bought them for mine and plugged 'em to the detector. They worked just fine, even the limiter did good. Unfortunately I live in a sort of "scabby" part of Ca, The 'phones kept out extraneous sounds TOO much. They would have been great if I had a detecting partner, but I hunt alone. I don't believe I would have been able to hear ; a rattlesnake, a flash flood "a" coming, a bear wanting me for dinner, Billy-Bob sneaking up with a tire-iron, etc. I use cheap 'phones that have little spongey things that just sit on your ears instead of a cup affair that seals out noise. So, consider them....if your of a mind. Good luck, Ron.

I use Calrad phones, abou $30. They have volume controls on each ear....and a gold prospector with several decades of experience says they are the best value for the $$. I am sure the expensive ones work well too. Try: http://jobewholesale.com/

I can't speak for the Lobo, but I've been quite satisfied with Grey Ghost phones on several Tesoros and Whites machines. Like the sound much better than the Calrads I originally started with. My two bits.
