I just bought a used CZ 7 A PRO. I own a MXT and wanted a CZ 7 A pro. I tried to use my KOSS headphones with it and I can just barely here the signal.Turned the headphone and CZ volume all the way up(still very faint). I have a pair of fisher headphones and they work ok with the detector but they are not as comfortable as the koss.I also have another pair of headphones and no sound at all. Is this normal or is there something wrong with the machine.NO headphones and it beeps nice and loud. I also have a CZ 20 for the water and it works great.Any opinions on this problem. JOE in MD

which is basically the same as the CZ7a with a 4th tone. I have used numerous headphones from cheapies to $140.00 Timberwolves and have not had a problem with any of them. As long as you have a 1/4 headphone male end or a 1/4 converter for a 1/8 headphone jack, there should'nt be a problem. Sounds to me like you need to send it in to Fisher for a cleaning & headphone jack replacement.

Good luck,
Mike
