Headphones Advice

Currently im using earbuds but im looking to purchace headphones now.
Im still hearing outside noise and was wanting to get some input on what
headphones to use with my x-terra 705?
All opinions are appreciated...

Very happy with the Grey Ghost Ultimate. They have a mute button which is nice to use when you lay your unit down to retrieve the target, if you use a chatty detector. They are crisp and clear, also. Only one volume control though.

I use Grey Ghost Original headphones .. you really aren't doing yourself any favors by using earbuds. Too much backround noise for most folks. And you don't need to spend a lot of money to get a decent pair ..

Sun Ray Pro Gold are the best I've found for sound, adjustability and comfort.

Keep the ear buds for really hot weather and for when you NEED to hear the surrounding sounds. Buy a good quality pair designed for detecting even if they're a bit spendy as you won't be buying headphones often, anyway. I use Gray Ghost originals and Nugget Busters. They give a cleaner, crisper sound compared to cheaper ones I've tried and they seal out the external noises very well.

I second this!
I do use ear buds as well, but not for DEEP coin hunting but for surface hunting or shallow hunting.
