Headphone question

Well-known member
My brother in California just picked up his new, Spectra/Vision. He couldn't post this question as his computer exploded the other day. But, he was telling me over the phone that the box the detector came in says, "includes headphones". We were wondering if maybe the printing on the boxes was done before they (White's) decided to sell the headphones separately? BTW he is absolutely thrilled with his new machine.

Did he get the headphones?

Jerry

Most dealers will take the headphones out of the box for a customer who wants the non-headphone unit. Then reorder the non-headphone unit and place the headphones back in the new one, rather than ordering in a special non-headphone unit for a customer. This way the customer gets his new toy right away, since few dealers will stock non-headphone units. That will also give the dealer just the headphones to sell at a later date if he wishes to go that route.

NO.

I guess he better look at the receipt and see if he was charged for the headphones!
Was the box opened at the dealer? Mine was opened in front of me.

Good Luck
