Headphone Question for Sov. GT

Guys, I ordered a GT Sov. that should have been here today, (oh well, so much for 3 day air) and I am wondering if the old Depthmaster headphones I have from 1988 will work with it. I know they will work, but will that old Depth master technology make any difference or should I just use the "cheapo" headphones that Kelly Co. is giving away with it? I have a pair 2001 Depthmaster Superphones, but I dont have the compatible cord for the GT, I ordered one from the manufactuer, but it doesnt look like its going to get to me in time for my vacation I am going on this sunday. Just wondering what headphones to bring. Thanks, Aaron
 
Choosing a pair of headphones for the Sovereign is a pretty serious business, and most of us would agree that it is not something that should be done hastily. However, almost any good Stereo headphones including the ones at Radio Shack will work in a pinch.
Here in California, the Radio Shack Pro 35 (Part# 33-1222) headphones are on sale for $19.99, normally $39.99, a very good deal.
