This might be a stupid question, but I'l ask it anyway .....Does the headphone jack send out 2 mono signals ? ....... Is there ANY detector that has some unique feature that utilizes Stereo ? .....LIke we don't have enough going on in our phones huh ? ..... Thanks , Jim

I know the V3i uses stereo. My friend has one. He he can set it up to hear iron tones in one ear and other higher conductive tones in another. Cool! I don't know much about it beyond that....

dbsmokey ,
Thanks for the reply .....Funny how since my E Trac gives me Ferrous and Conductive numbers at the same time , I thought tha tmaybe having both those tones would be interesting ....Now you post that they do it wit the V3i ....Very cool !!...Thanks again , Jim

The Nautilus machines have been using the stereo headphones with all metal in one ear & disc in the other for years .. Whites just enabled this on the V3i or the Visions & V3 with the i upgrade.. The Nautilus took special stereo head phones to work properly, most used the inexpensive Vanco or Calrad phones or the better quality Gray Ghost DMC models that are made specifically for the Nautilus machines..I used to carry a DMC IIB for cleanup after the Sovereign & used a pair of Timber Wolf Cubs that I rewired for the Nautilus..I still have these & are the only phones I have that work on the V3i in stereo mixed as I dont have the Whites wireless phones... wildherre
