Headphone Jack ...Is it water-proof ???

Donna(NJ

Well-known member
Do I need to get a pair of water-proof headphones with the water-proof connector ???

Or is the jack already water-proof ???

Cant recall what I read a year ago !!!! :) :) :)

Thx,
Donna

Yes if your going to submerge or get the unit wet. No if your land hunting just keep the plug in place if your not using it. Could you be a little more specific about the type of hunting?

Thanks Jeff

Im going to submerge the control unit but NOT the headphones. Im using the 'wired' headphones that came with the unit.
Basically wading in 3-4 feet of water.

Thx,
Donna

Am right in assuming u have the 600? Those will be good for your purpose. The jack on the machine is waterproof....if u have the ML pigtail just one end is.

I agree with Dewcon that the control pod is waterproof but neither the 600 or the 800's supplied cord is waterproof. The factory adaptor eight to quarter inch has the waterproof end as well as the underwater headphones. Blue tooth won't transmit under water so that's not an option. Hope this helps:shrug:
