Did I read somewhere that Garrett is developing an adapter which will allow the AT pro to take a headphone set with a 1" (standard) plug?
 
Thanks. There is a video on youtube about the Infinium L/S. There is a guy who has developed a better shaft etc. Anyhow, he had the type of connection I was asking about. It adapts the headphone jack so it takes a 1" plug. That means the headphone cord isn't water proof but allows a guy to use a different type of headphone rather than the ones supplied with the AT pro.

I just unpacked my new AT Pro, less than an hour ago! It's really cool, I can't wait to get some time alone to do some air tests. When I put it together, the first thing I noticed was that I will surely have to modify the headphone setup. Other than that, I am excited!!!

I can hardly wait. I am on-line to take delivery next month. It looks like a great machine. I have a great pair of Koss headphones I want to use but they have a 1" plug so I am hoping I can either buy and adapter or build one.

Man those connectors were hard to tighten up. Water will not get inside them that's for sure. I hope they do come out with a connector soon. I would love to use the Killer B's.
 
Exactly. So how long have you had your At Pro?
 
Maiden Voyage yesterday. First Target, First hole dug was a little Handmade silver ring. I got a silver high tone in pro mode. Solid as a rock. I said no way. I have dug this area to death. Gotta be trash..Nope ring. This machine is amazing. Almost like having a 3D view of the targets in the ground using the proportional audio in pro mode. It is amazing.
