Headphone cord tip

RonNH

New member
One of the first things I noticed about my Terra 70 is how the headphone plugged into the side of the main box. I was used to the phones plugging into the back of the box on my White's units. Using the Terra, the cord was swinging wild and would be in the way when I set the machine down to retrieve a target. After a few months of threading the cord under my web belt to keep it under control, I found a large open key clip that I could hook onto the phone cord, then clip onto my belt loop. This keeps the cord close to my right side and gives the detecting end enough slack to swing and things don't get into the way. Ron

Nice tip !!!

Yeah, that side port can be a real pain when the grounds not level and the Terra decides to tip over. On that side. Which with Murphy,s Law ruling means it will almost every single time. Bit like the buttered toast always falling face down onto the carpet when you think about it. All tips are good tips.
