So all you pirates in Hamilton County stop by Harrison Bay State Beach Park and say "Hey"...looking to teach of budy of mine son how to metal detect. Hopefully I will have some treasures to share with you all when I get back

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if it is a Tennessee state park you can't metal detect there. There are other areas that you can hunt though. You might want to research it a little before you come.

I pulled a silver ring out of a local lake here in East Tennessee this evening, and the last month has brought me a fair share of Gold and Ice.

Good luck!

Not Detecting at Harrison Bay going to other area's to do my detecting...I've done my research quite well and know where I can detect...also go my permit...
