hello there. my name is pete. i am new here and looking to make new friends here.
i just started prospecting for gold . it is the best thing that happened to me.
i have joined an expedition group to africa with a couple of guys.
i was hoping we could be friends and you could share some prospecting

Pete, since you are new here you may not know who Dave J is--he is the top engineer at First Texas and has designed some of the most successful detectors on the market and he is Very familiar with "expeditions" to Africa and elsewhere You may want to PM him for some good advice.

I have 2 friends who commercially mined Sierra Leone and other nasty places there for many years. BUT now they have abandoned equipment,leases and ALL as corruption,chinese,diseases and violence has made the place not miner friendly in any way ,shape or form. I had a fantastic job offer in Tanzania years back but when I did the footwork/investigation I foound out the last gang boss got kilt by a bloody hippo and THAT was just 1 outta 3 in a year. The rivers belong to them and the crocs. Dozen shots,malarial pills that eat your organs and ungodly diseases that nothing cures...not only NO but LL NO-John

Pete-----Better listen to the advice given here by these guys--they know what they are talking about!------I realize you are new & excited about prospecting---but----there are many (safe) places to hunt for gold.----There isn't ANY piece of that yella stuff worth giving up your health (or life) for.

If Pete posts here asking for you to buy his gold, dont do it, no matter what the price. He has followed up similar posts elsewhere with inquiries to sell his gold - supposedly kilo plus nuggets by his account - to the forum readers. The whole post and series of posts by Pete appears to be a scam to rip off prospectors. I dont think Pete is a prospector or someone who is legitimate - I am thinking he a thief that is more interested in mining your wallet or bank account.
