We are hoping the water stays relatively warm, there are a few beaches in Michigan state parks we want to try out(The ones that are not on the 'no detecting allowed' list,of course.Complete list of state parks in Michigan that are  and off limits is found at Michigan DNR website.........They are saying the color change is 7-10 days later this year,so hopefully the first week of October will see the lakes and rivers warm enough for :detecting:!!!!........

Stay safe, have fun and enjoy the outdoors before Winter comes with all its cold weather and ice and snow! May God bless and keep you both always in His loving care! Amen! Ma

Will likely be very cold by then. A recent storm churned the big lake, and one beach got down to 49. Rivers likely cold as well, but some inland lakes might be warm enough. Git R Dun :detecting:
