Need help deciding on a detector. I'm going to the Hawaiin Islands in June and the Island I will be detecting has very mineralized beaches. Of the 2 machines I mentioned, how would they perform in this mineralized condition & which would you suggest?I'm sure the Excal would be ok but am not sure of the Wader. I was told by a dealer and another hunter on the islands who use the Whites PI, to not use it on the island I will be on,but suggested the PI for their island.

I live in the CA Bay area and our beaches are very mineralized and have lots of black sands. The HH Wader seems to take it in stride.
