curious if any members are going to be around Rehoboth area id like to get out and also wondering if you can metal detect indian river outlet area
 
The inlet is a good area to detect. I found 18 gold rings one day after a large storm along with an 1811 half dollar. Lots of good finds to be made even without a storm.
 
North side is what's known as coin beach. Shipwreck coins are still being found, mostly after a storm. You can only detect on the ocean side. Bayside is off limits. Good luck out there, Joe
