Nice finds as usual, John. Reminds me of the scripture quotation in one of Mr. Garrett's videos from the book of Matthew.
Where your heart is, your treasure will be, also. Not word for word, but just to the best of my memory.
I have wondered lately if I will ever get back to dirt fishing anytime soon. If it's not the weather, it's my health or I'm having to look after my elderly Mama and just can't find the time or energy to get out and do anything.
When I first started trying to metal detect in Dec., 2007, hardly anyone would let me go on their property. Now I have people lining up so to speak to give me permission and it sure is discouraging when I can't go with all these sites available. Some of these people seem to take it the wrong way, too. They think you're snubbing them someway when you don't make an effort to metal detect and don't understand when you tell them you're not feeling well. One person told me I was lazy and they felt like it wasn't important to me that they had gave me permission and let another person go instead. I was asked why I took up this hobby if I wasn't able to do it all the time. I pray for the right words to not say the wrong thing, but some people who are healthy just don't understand people who are not. If you're overweight, you're just lazy. End of conversation. Glad to see some people getting out and having some fun, tho. That silver cache you posted really was exciting, John. Those guys must be on cloud nine.
Years ago these contractors were doing some work on this old house and found several milk cans hidden with silver coins, mostly dollar coins and the lady didn't even thank them for finding them and being honest enough to tell her about it. I guess it's what we call the human condition.
HH and good luck, John.
