Just seeing if anyone on hear wears hearing aids. I have them its real hard to where headphones for a long period of time. I get lots of feed back from them.Talk to my audiologist she said my hearing aids have a FM system in them. Does the ace have FM signal on them? If they do that would be sweet!

My response didn't answer your question completely. In order to use FM with your hearing aids, you will need a FM transmitter to plug into the audio output of the metal detector. For compatibility, the FM transmitter should be the same brand as your hearing aids. I have a Phonack FM transmitter and tried that before the Bluetooth arrangement and it was not satisfactory. There were audio delays, unusual gain changes and additional noise that interfered with the audio from the metal detector. I suggest that you talk with your audiologist and consider a Bluetooth setup. Bluetooth is a common function for cell phone connectivity as well. In addition to a hearing aid interface, you will need a Bluetooth transmitter to connect to the audio of the metal detector and in my case, this is a Sony TMR-BT10 or TMR-BT10A. The difference between the two is the cord length. The BT10A has a short cord as shown in the picture of the post. This topic is probably not very interesting to most people so I will be happy to continue with this off the forum if you would provide your contact address.
