head phones

Richard,
Most any headset that has volume control, a standard 1/4 inch plug or plug with addapter to 1/4 inch and can change between mono and stereo should do to get you going.

I have a calrad that I don't know the model number and this past summer picked up a Koss QZ-99 for just under $40 that I like. My Fisher detectors like them set to stereo, my other detectors like them set to mono. I use them with pretty much any detector that isn't hard wired (my CZ20 is hard wired).

I have used Koss TD-81 headphones for years. They have a lifetime warranty on them so if they short out, just mail them back to Koss. They fix them and send them back. All I have ever paid was shipping to Koss. See if you can pick up a pair after Christmas. People get gifts and do away with the old stuff

:goodnight:

I recently bought a new pair of fisher headphones for 40.00 on e-bay. Had the koss which I think I paid 80.00 for and the fisher sounds twice as loud. I was impressed! Well worth the 40.00.
